This afternoon I read an article about the groundbreaking “invention” of the invisibility cloak. Yes, that magical object in the fictional Harry Potter series that makes the wearer invisible to other people. Yes people, Baile Zhang from Nanyang Technological University created an invisibility cloak with similar characteristics to that of Harry Potter’s. Only, his invention was actually an invisibility box, not a cloak. And it’s at macroscopic proportions (if I’m not mistaken). You may read about the article HERE.

Amazing, right? Next thing we know, that illusive laser sword from Star Wars will be a household object in the near future. Or we could be playing Quidditch years from now! YAY! I heart technology.
